Robin Woolley
Robin is the CEO of Transcend Corporate Advisors and also a director in Ownership Solutions Pty (Ltd). His areas of expertise are strategy development, black economic empowerment implementation, scorecard development and the implementation of employee ownership in companies.
Robin holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Natal, an MBA from University of Witwatersrand and a Phd From DemontFord University.
Robin is a visiting lecturer at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in the fields of strategy development and Designing and Executing Your Black Economic Empowerment Strategy. He was previously the director of executive programmes for one and a half years at GIBS. His PHD is in the field of empowerment and he has consulted in company’s empowerment initiatives to many medium and large sized businesses over the past three years.
Robin runs a number of empowerment courses with conferences and business schools such as the Financial Mail online empowerment course, the CIDA empowerment courses etc. He, with Ownership Solutions, acts as the empowerment consultancy capacity for Ernst and Young.
Robin has written a book on empowerment called “Everyone’s Guide to BEE”, which is being followed up with a book on using Employee Owned Trusts as a vehicle to empowerment and productivity. Robin is a founding member and chairperson of the employee ownership association of South Africa (Inqolobane).
Robin married his childhood sweetheart Kim, and they have two daughters.
