Shaun Smit

Shaun Smit is an executive director of Ownership Solutions and specialises in turn-key employee ownership (ESOP) implementation, enterprise development structuring and share incentive schemes. He also presents a course on Ownership as part of an overall BEE training program.

Shaun studied at the University of the Witwatersrand and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in corporate finance and investment, and a Bachelor of Accounting. Following his tertiary studies he completed his articles at Deloitte. Prior to joining Ownership Solutions, Shaun worked for Deloitte New York, and then at Credit Suisse in London. He believes that there is no place like home and is passionate about South Africa and its future. Shaun is a Chartered Accountant.
